I have been in the business for around 15 years, professionally for about 6 years, working at various places until I opened my own modern studio in 2000.
I pride myself in my work and the appearance of the studio and I also think it important to speak to customers about any fears or any other aspects of tattooing that they may have (ie. hygiene, designs, pain, etc.)
There are 1000's of designs to choose from in the studio or you could bring your own.
